Nature. It’s cheaper than therapy.

Being outside. Living minimally. Eating, hiking, sitting around a campfire….sleeping under the stars. Or not. Let’s not kid ourselves, camping in tents or under the stars is magical. But a renovated camper? With bells on!
We recently met up with the talented trio; Wetsand creative Shannon Menzel, Photographer Whitney Turner and designer Hillary Amborn, for a little stay-cation in Hillary’s renovated 97′ Ford Jayco camper. Hillary and her husband Aaron (contractor extrodinaire) renovated the camper from 90’s backyard, possible trash bucket to clean, stylish and functional camper. Pendleton blankets, Army upholstery fabric couches kept things fashionably cozy while we sipped on coffee after a morning surf (in our Wetsand mugs, duh!) and wine at night.
If you’re looking for a smaller camp trip on wheels, we’ve been totally hit with the inpsiration stick (Pinterest might have something to do with this one!) while reading up on Artemis Russell renovation of her 1978 Volkswagen Type 2 bus. For more images and details on her renovation click here.
